EL Reed Herbarium is now online

The E.L Reed Herbarium at Texas Tech is now online. We have a new Plant Phylogenomicist and Herbarium Director, Dr. Matt Johnson. He and I have moved the herbarium database to Symbiota

Matt Johnson describes our steps towards digitization (imaging is next) on the new herbarium webpage. Given Dr. Johnson’s favorite plant group of study, it is fitting that the first specimen in the collection is a Sphagnum species, barcode TCC000001
